Disordered eating in athletes

This online CPD course provides information and guidance for sports professionals on the identification and management of eating problems among athletes.

The evidence-based course has been carefully designed to improve sports professionals’ awareness and knowledge about eating problems among athletes. It aims to equip learners with the confidence and skills needed to identify potential eating problems among the athletes they work with.

The course includes resources and tips for coaches and other sports professionals to guide them through approaching, supporting and facilitating the recovery of athletes with potential eating problems.

Learners will benefit not only from an increased understanding of disordered eating in athletes, but will also gain a number of practical tips and strategies to help them to create positive training environments and to facilitate healthy eating attitudes among the athletes that they work with.

This course is approved by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) and awarded 2.5 CPD points. It is available for £80 per person.
