A new study at Loughborough University’s School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences will investigate the support needs of working people affected by long-term health conditions.
The purpose of the study is to undertake research that has the potential to improve and lengthen the working lives of people affected by long-term health conditions, including heart and lung disorders, cancer, musculoskeletal problems, anxiety, depression, stress, diabetes, and other conditions.
Existing research shows that people with long-term health conditions are at higher risk of not participating in work and becoming unemployed.
This project aims to inform working practices and workplace health by understanding workplace support needs from an individual perspective.
Working people of any age are invited to take part. Participants do not need to have an existing health condition. If you are interested in taking part, please complete this short online survey.
