EVENT: Processing objective physical activity and sedentary behaviour data

The Leicester-Loughborough Diet, Lifestyle and Physical Activity Biomedical Research Unit is holding a two-day event looking at processing data from selected devices that measure physical activity and sedentary behaviour.

The event will focus on processing data from the activPAL device and processing raw acceleration data from devices such as ActiGraph and GENEActiv using GGIR. It will mainly be a ‘hands on’ session of data processing on the computer, with additional presentations and group discussions.

The event is aimed at those who are familiar with the basics of using objective physical activity measurement devices and either have, or are currently collecting, accelerometer data.
