The British Heart Foundation National Centre for Physical Activity and Health is holding a one-day workshop to promote the use of the Functional Fitness MOT among health professionals working with older adults.
This tool is a series of functional activities that health professionals can use to understand the functional fitness of an older person in relation to other people their age. Results from the tests can be used to initiate conversations about physical activity with older adults as an important vehicle to help them maintain their independence in later life.
