The British Heart Foundation National Centre for Physical Activity and Health is running a one-day course on promoting health behaviour change.
Promoting Health Behaviour Change is based on the concept of Solution Focused Practice, which takes a positive approach to empowering individuals to identify how they can improve their health. This one-day course will equip professionals with the practical skills and competencies to immediately integrate Solution Focused Practice into everyday interactions with individuals or groups to help promote patient health and wellbeing in routine consultations.
The course is designed for frontline professionals with a remit to promote positive health behaviour changes, such as exercise instructors, cardiac rehabilitation nurses, exercise referral instructors, health trainers, GPs or practice nurses.
