The National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine England and the British Heart Foundation National Centre for Physical Activity and Health will be holding a joint conference this September at Loughborough University.
The conference – ‘Just Good Medicine: The role of physical activity in the prevention and management of long term conditions’ – will explore the current and potential role of physical activity in the prevention and management of long term conditions.
Who should attend?
It is suitable for anyone who has a remit for commissioning, developing or delivering physical activity interventions for public health gain. It will look specifically at the prevention and management of long term conditions and will be extremely beneficial for anyone working in public health and primary or secondary care. The event will also be valuable to academic researchers and postgraduate students with an interest in physical activity, public health and long term conditions.
